Sanj Rathi

Sanj has more than 25 years of healthcare advisory experience, working with and consulting for numerous organizations on strategy, performance improvement, cost reduction and product and service creation.

 

He has successfully founded and exited from several data analytics companies which focused on supply chain effectiveness and improvement.

 

Sanj was as a partner at RHG, where he focused on business intelligence, specifically data cleansing and data mining, to help better understand supply chain costs associated with quality and outcomes. Sanj has combined his analytics and operational expertise to provide significant improvement to hospitals' bottom lines.  Most recently, Sanj has been working on developing significant hospital projects in the Middle East and Asia focusing on both non-acute and acute care services. His recent work has included serving as senior advisor to a Saudi Arabian Conglomerate which focuses on Manufacturing and Health. In this role, he created an overarching healthcare vertical framework and strategy to identify investment opportunities in both non-acute and acute care services. He also spearheaded the creation of a joint venture between a UAE based holding company and the largest for profit hospital system in Asia, focusing on the delivery of clinical services for women's health. 

 

Prior to RHG, Sanj founded Perigon, LLC, which utilized its proprietary technology to improve the supply chain operational capabilities of healthcare enterprises by setting automated processes for establishing standard product nomenclature. Perigon was acquired by Owens & Minor, a Fortune 500 company.

 

Sanj also co-lead the Surgical Services practice with APM Incorporated, since acquired by CSC, where he led large-scale business process redesign efforts within the health care industry that resulted in combined savings of over $500 million both in the United States and Canada.

 

Sanj holds a BA in Economics and an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the University of Chicago. Sanj is an active alumnus and sits on the Dean of the College's Visiting Committee.
